Kausik Gangopadhyay is an economist who earned his PhD from the University of Rochester (2007). He is a professor in the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. He has published many articles in reputed refereed international journals and has a co-edited book published by Springer Verlag. He also enjoys writing popular articles, having published in platforms like DNA , Firstpost , Swarajya , and Matrubhumi . He lives in Kozhikode with his wife and two children.
