About the Author

Kakoli Singha graduated from K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering and did her Masters in Marketing from Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. Passionate about creative writing since a young age, she has won several awards for her poetic narration from establishments such as the Confederation of Indian Industry and Wattpad India. She has worked in front-end sales in the Financial sector, gradually moving to content creation in the Insurance and Fintech space. Inspired by her travels across India, she started to weave her own world of Indic fantasy. With several published short stories and poems, she has now embarked on a journey to create a series of books based on Indic fantasy and mythology. Jarota: War of Evil Shadows is the first of many stories built on the vibrant culture of Bharatvarsha.
